Please help,

I created a report that lists sales for each person on a page.

The sales is divided into two categories: Domestic and International Sales.

In each category I want to plot a graph that shows data for this specific category and for that person.

This is what I did:
On the reports I created two Groups, one for the name and one for the category. In the "Detail" section I list numeric data. Then I inserted a bar chart in the footer section of the "category" group. In the "Child Fields" and "Master Fields" I linked the Category and the Person to each other.

Now when I open the report, the chart does not always display the correct data. For example, it would display the chart for another person or for another category. Sometimes though it would work, if I'm lucky. It's very inconsistent.

I tried looking at everything, but haven't found the causes yet. Please help if you know more. Thanks

I've never used graphs before, so this approach may be a bit of a PITA, but it's the only way _I_ can think of to diagnose the problem...

If you get rid of the graph (in a copy of your report, so you don't have to rebuild it) and put in a couple of simple controls that should hold the fields you mentioned, do you get the right data?

Also, with the graphs, do they show the same data for every person? That would be a clue.

Maybe before you try this, have you done stuff like this in the past and had success? If so, I should probably stop taking stabs in the dark.

Hope that some of this helps somehow.
