I have created a Crystal Report Version 10 with a chart that displays in the header section of the report.

I have distributed this report to 2 users. Each of these users have a free-runtime Crystal viewer installed on their computer - Crystal Passage.

On user #1 the report will run and display the chart as expected in the header with row details below. Just fine.

On user #2 the report will run but the chart is not displayed in the header but you can see a red outline where the chart boundaries would probably be located. Detail rows do display below this blank chart placeholder.

So in summary then, there is something on users #2 machine that will not properly display a Crystal Report chart in the header section.

Can someone point me in a possible direction that I can explore why this might be happening for user #2.

Thanks again.

Sounds like the chart dll isn't installed properly, but you should check with the software developers, this isn't really a crystal reports issue.

I think that the dll is;

Sscsdk80.Dll
