i have an area chart, based on a crosstab query.
i have manipulated it so that one field will always appear as a column heading on the far right (i made it alphabetically the last). i want this area chunk to always have a certain format (blue and white diagnol stripes), but it will always be in a diff place depending on how many other 'column heading' items come up (depending on user selections).

how do i get to the series object in the chart and set it's format to what i want? i cannot find very much on the chart object or how to loop thru each series until i find the one I want (named "CAT III") and make it the format i want it to be.

thanks--g
