Chart Expert Problem 1

When I am using the Chart Expert what I find really strange is that I cannot find the Custom Template button
which I believe is supposed to be just sitting next to the Chart Editor button both inside the Custom
Chart frame in the type tab of the Chart Expert dialogue box. The basis for this belief of mine is that I can see a
Custom Template button when I look at the help system of Crystal Report under chart Expert.

What I desire to accomplish is to chart two field values from an mdb table (time vs speed_of_vehicle) in a
customized chart that I build using the Chart Editor button

I am using Crystal Report ver 7.0 and wondering if what I am trying to do is possible using this software. Thank
you so much for all the kind help you can give.

Bad help screen.

That button doesn't exist.
To Create or use a template you have to load the Custom Chart Editor.

File - Save As (Create a Template)
File - Apply Template (Use the Template)


Once you have used the Custom Chart Editor, don't forget to answer "Yes" to the "Save Chart" prompt AFTER you exit. This brings the changes back to the report design. A really poor design.
