I have a report with a basic line chart that shows three values per year over time. To distinguish the lines I have chosen solid line, regularly placed dots and groups of three dots to represent each value.

The problem is when I go to print from crystal or print from acrobat after export the dotted lines look all bunched up and the same.

There is another report that has the same chart setup with the exception that the legend is switched off that prints successfully from acrobat and crystal. I can't see any differences between this chart and my chart.

Can anyone suggest how I can force the dotted lines to be distinguishable when printed?

Thanks for replying.

Which fonts do you mean? I would imagine the fonts in the chart only but do the fonts used in the rest of the report have any effect.

I have gone through all the text items in the chart and changed them to arial and in File|Options set the font for Charts to Arial too. I still don't get the dots like in the other chart.

Jambu... just wondering if you ever figured out a solution to your problem... I am experiencing the same thing.
