Chart doesn't display in viewer

Hello there. I am on crystal version 9. I have created a report that includes a pie chart in the report footer. I upload the .rpt to my application server in order to view through a report viewer application, but for some reason I am unable to see charts when I view the report. The report footer section displays, but is blank. I am not sure if the issue is with the application's report viewer or crystal. Any ideas?
