I've been asked to set our call centre up for a charity event in a couple of months. Calls will be queued at network level and be out of our control. Essentially they want 100 agents on 100 phones with no queuing. Ideally I'd like to do this in Symposium so that I can run some reports for the volunteers, but I need to know if anybody has succesfully done this with no queueing. My first thought is to put something the the script to see if there are more then 0 calls queuing and then give busy. If I do this, will the network see busy or will it see it as an active call as symposium has effectively 'answered' the call. Alternatively I could use the basic ACD on the switch or even hunting - but I'd rather not.

Thanks!

You could add a scripting statement like

IF IDLE AGENT COUNT [skillset] = 0 THEN GIVE BUSY
DISCONNECT
END IF
