Characters being squashed to left in text box

Hey
We are experiencing a very strange problem with one of our clients where and report written on their system has all the characters displayed as on top of each other. Making the rport un readable. We need to know the vague area of the error in order to log it with crystal however I cant find any reason for it.
Anyone got any ideas?
