I am lokking for a program that trasnforme video images to characters, like the matrix movie. Does anybody knows ?

Tanks a lot, and sorry by my bad english

Which effect are you trying to do? I'm afraid I don't understand.

Do you want to use characters in a video clip?

What I really wanna do is like the made at Matrix movie, when a image is turned to a lot of numbers and characters, as special effect. It`s not simple as using just characters in the video clip, but it`s like a mutation for example, a scene os a men and then he turns into numbers but his silhoute still the same. I don`t know if I`m been clear, but can you understand me now???

Thank you very much for the answer
Hope to hear from you soon again

Regards

Hm. Would it be sufficient to, say, map an existing AVI (a wall of sliding numbers) onto a 3D space.

So, you would have an image of three guys on a boat hunting a shark, say, but then suddenly, the whole thing becomes a big moving image of letters, but they flow in the shapes of three guys on a boat hunting for sharks?

That requires something a little more sophisticated than Premiere. Maya, perhaps? I have played with a little piece of shovelware called VR Merlin that allowed me to skin 3D shapes with a solid image, but a moving image might be more than it can handle.

But, basically, you'll need some kind of 3D modeling software for that. Once you have that, then you can output from the modeling software to a file that Premiere can read, such as an AVI, or a series of frames, etc.

Does that help at all?
