Is there any way to get more text colors other than the ten that are offered in the character specifications. I know you can change the tint on any color but I'd like to actually use different colors. Any way to do that??

Pagemaker's Help and the User Manual are extremely vague on what should be a simple procedure. You go to Utilities>Define Colors and select NEW. From there you can add colors. If you have no document open at the time you do this, the color palette will be available for all new docs.

Unfortunately, you will have to know the numerical values or pantone numbers for the colors... Adobe could not do somethinglogical such as providing a color map as they do in Photoshop for you to use an eyedropper tool to select. And even if they did, the colors would lokk different on screen than they do in print, which is a whole other can of worms. When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
