Does anyone know the meaning of the the following;
Using hostname from unknown source. I cant't find any documents explaining.

Example below, Trying to get two 1721 routers talking for remote access. Asked customer to check his username and that their password is the same as mine (both ends) i.e secret password.


000534: *Aug 25 16:00:39.559 PCTime: BR0:1 CHAP: O CHALLENGE id 8 len 30 from "abc"

is this a closed network, two alerts, one out one in, unknown host name.. my "knee jerk response" someone in house tried to telnet to your loopback, with a best guess hostname..

Are you using Dialer Profiles and Virtual Templates?
