I did a dsch L C on 8 channels on a particular Loop. Then I went to ench L C on those channels and they won't idle up. They end up in Lock out. What can I do to idle them up?

Appreciate it.

what type of card, and do you have jumpers on them? another pointer, if you have multi ports down on a card, you can use the enlc x command, it now brings up the disu channels. faster then bringing up each port

This is a T1 over a leased circuit between to locations and my side is a Opt 81c and the other is an NEC 2400 pbx. In my end, it happens to be loop 78 and channels 2, 4,5,6,7,13,15,16 are LCKO and the rest are IDLE. They were IDLE and fine until I disabled them as part of a test the other end wanted to do. When I try to turn up just those channels from disabled to idle I get no further than lockout. Do I have to bring the whole thing down and re-enable the sucker to get those locked out channels back? Makes no sense to me, but...

you may need to talk to the nec on the remote end, if they are fe msby, they can refuse to respond until the switchman on that ends makes the request. a complete disl shouldn't be needed and may make matters worse if the far end is not in auto recovery. unlike the merridian auto is not the default

Thought so. I will contact them and see if we can't take the whole thing down and back up from both perspectives then see what happens.

Thanks. I will let you know.
