Hi there,
I’m part of a network team supporting 500 windows xp workstations and have been assigned the task to change the local administrator passwords on all workstations on the network. I don't have much experience with scripting so my questions are:
1. Has anyone here ever carried out such tasks and how?
2. Has anyone come across Sysinternals Pstools pspasswd, it seems this is a popular tool for such tasks?
3. I have a licensed copy of Hyena, will this do the trick?
The password also can’t be in clear text.
I’m going to continue researching other ways of accomplishing this but any feedback will be appreciated – this forum has always delivered quality feedback so look forward to all replies.
Cheers guys
