Changing XP Modem Preferences

Is it possible to programatically change Modem Settings?

We have a timeout problem with modems at some customer sites and want to provide standard modem settings.

In XP Modem properties, there is an option:

- Advanced
-- Change Default Preferences
--- General
--- Call Preferences
--- Disconnect a call if idle for xx mins

We would like to have a program that will automatically change this.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
