Changing Weld symbol layer

In AutoCad2005 Mechanical I am able to change the layer name and color of the weld symbol but the actual symbol on the leader stills shows yellow. Example a fillet weld change the layer AM_5 to purple but the fillet symbol itself it still yellow. Any idea how to make it all purple?

Going to answer my own question in case someone else needs the information.

After being up the layer properties double click on layer and click on the tab 'Objects'. Location and change 'Mechanical Symbols' to your choice.
