Changing users in GroupWise 8

IN former iterations of GroupWise I could change who I'm logging in as with the /@u- switch, but that no longer seems to be the case with GroupWise 8. Instead it seems to cache my username/password until the next time I reboot my machine. Occasionally I need to log on as another user (for example, creating a new user and proxy rights) but I don't necessarily want to have to reboot my PC to do it. Is there any other way in GroupWise 8?

Did you shut down NOTIFY as well BEFORE trying to login as the other user??? Notify will "hold" the identity until closed.

I checked and Notify is not running. I even checked running processes.

As I understand it there are 4 elements to GroupWise and if any of them are running the user is still logged in
Client
Notify
Address Book
Messenger

But the most common hidden one is Notify - somewhere in the tray.
