I have been tasked with cleaning up after the last IT guy and change the username scheme. ADSIEdit you can edit the required attributes, howwever we have a GPO that redirects the mydocuments to a server location.

Once I have changed the username AD attributes the folder redirection still points to the old username.

Other than recreating 100 users, is there anyway to solve this???

Make sure you have renamed the account everywhere the old name exists and that you have changed the directories in the redirection folder as well. i would use vbscritp to automate all of this.

Disable the policy, then re-enable it to have the policy reset the users names.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark
