Hi!

I am fairly new to Lotus Notes. I have created users using the standard mail.ntf template without any problems. Now I have some users asking me to change the format as they want to exclusively use the iNotes web access to get their mail.
Is there a way to change the account so that it will use the iNotes.ntf template instead of the current mail.ntf?

Thanks in advance

The name of the design template that a mail file takes its design from is located in the Database Properties dialog box.
Open the DB properties, go to the middle tab (the one with the angle ruler and the hammer). On that page, you'll see the Inheritance section in the middle. Just under the section title, you have the checkbox option "Inherit design from master template", it should be checked and contain a string like mail6.ntf. Change that string to iNotes6.ntf and you'll be set after the Design Refresh runs on the server.
Or you can update manually by going to File/Database/Design Refresh and validating the update from the server.

Pascal.
