Anyone know how to set the icon to appear in the Address field? "Alright whatever man, I'll hook up the hair, but I aint touchin the ring...Cause I'm still a pla--yer"

Yes. This only works on IE5+.

First, you have to create a 16x16 pixel ico file. Get an icon editor to do this as I think ico is a special file type that requires special headers. It may just be a bmp though. I think there are shareware editors you can download.

You can make a default icon for your whole site by naming it favicon.ico and putting it in your root web directory. Or you can make a per-page icon by using a link tag:
[tt]
<HEAD>
<LINK REL=&quot;SHORTCUT ICON&quot; HREF=&quot;&quot;>
<TITLE>My Title</TITLE>
</HEAD>
[/tt]
I believe that your visitors must add your site to their favorites before they will see the icon appear in the address bar or the favorites menu.

you don't need any special software to edit/create an icon, just use windows paint. but make sure that it is 16x16 and that you save it as an .ico file.
