We are currently transitioning off of Macola so I no longer have any Macola support. We have recently received an order (from the fed gov of course) for an item over 10 million dollars. What do I need to do in Macola so I can enter this item? The oeordlin table is still set at the defaults of 9 length 13 precision 6 scale. This only allows for amounts under 10 million to be entered. We can enter the item for 12 mil but it is saved as 2 mil, truncating the 10 million amount. What do I need to do to be able to enter this order in Macola?

What makes you think this is not saving in the database? Have you looked at the raw data?

I assume that since the 12million is not saving that you are using a 12 million unit price. You are right that will not save. You can set up a unit measure conversion of per 100 th. or per 1000 th. Then enter the order as 12 hundred thousand or 12 thousand depending.

Good Luck
Tom

Tom, you are correct, the unit price is 12 million. Thanks for the suggestion, that sounds like it would work, but for now we just entered it as 2 line items. It isn't going to ship for 2 years and we will be completely off Macola way before then so billing it won't be a problem.
