If I have nothing set in my "SIP REGISTRAR FQDN" and I currently have 100's of phones regostering using IP 10.10.X.2... WHat will happen if I insert "ipoffice.companyname.com" into that field?

Will all of my phones fail to register?

They will be attempting to register to 10.10.x.2 instead of ipoffice.companyname.com

Do you have your DNS server set correctly?
Does Iipoffice.companyname.com resolve to the IP adress of the ipoffice?

If so then you should be ok
if not then things will fail

Questions like this should idealy be directed to your sysstem maintainer becaues if you do make a mess of things & call them in to fix they will almost certainly charge.
(we give advice of this sort to customers free of charge because telling them how to do it correctly is a lot less troublesome than trying to find out what has been broken!)

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
