Changing the shape of the main stage

Hi all,

I would like to make my main window irregularly shaped. This is possible in a MIAW. Can I shape my main stage irregularly, or must I have a second base movie in order to open a shaped miaw with the desired director file in it? If the latter, how do I make the main stage invisible or better, non-existant?

(basically, how can I have just one irregularly shaped window open?)
