Hi,

If I run the Internet Address Management wizard a second time and change the default "remote" domain name, what impact will it have?

I have an SSL with the domain mail.domain.com. RWW does not let me log onto a computer because the certificate and internet address do not match. So instead of buying another SSL for remote.mydomain.com I was thinking of running the wizard to change it from remote to mail.

Thanks in advance

I reviewed the docs on SBS 2008, and I don't think you will have an impact on re-running the Internet Address Management Wizard and specifying "mail" instead of "remote". Microsoft installed the name "remote" as a convenience, not a requirement.

You can also delete the A record in DNS for "remote" and add a new A record for "mail", which will accomplish the same thing.

Hope that helps...
