changing the properties of a subform

Hi,
I'm trying to change the record source of a sub form that is contained with in the main form and set in to "",(currently has a recordsource that points to a table) from within the main form class module. I have tried different varaition on the following but to no joy.

Forms!frmMain.sfrmSubMain.RecordSource = ""
any help would b appreciated

Not sure about the answer.....but the nice people over at the Access Forms Forum will more than likely know... might wanna try this there

You should be able to delete the record source of the subform in the properties window of the sobform, I do it all the time. Jim Lunde
