ok. I've seen a script that places some tables on another table. It was a script that uses layers. Depending on which option you choosed in a selectbox, different layers where shown on that table. The problem is that I must not use layers because the incompatibility between Netscape and IE. I thought that it would work to add a table beneath another table when selecting. That is, I would like to see the page change without needing to load the page again. I cannot run cgi on this server. So, I would like to find a script that can insert HTML without reloading the page.

Thanks.

Ditch NS4! Less than 10% of the population is using it. We need to make our bosses/consumers aware of this or we will be supporting NS3.2 and NS4 for the rest of our lives. Charge double to support NS4. Offer only IE4 or even IE5 support (75% population). jared@aauser.com

Yes, you can just choose to ditch NS4, but there is a fairly easy way to deal with the incompatibility. Just browse to where you can find a nice cross-browser API that let's you do the same functions in each browser. These are not "crippled" functions either. You can show/hide layers, rewrite layer contents, drag-n-drop, etc...

The Dynamic Duo API let's you just include certain Javascript code in your pages which then allow you to write one function that works on both browsers. Nice concept, huh? ;-)
