I have a data-base that someone built for me. I have copied it all over and saved it under a different name. I built my new table and want to keep the old form. In the old data-base there was one form and one table. Now I have several tables and want to copy the form for all of the tables. How do I change the table that the form is built on without having to just build a whole new form? It will be easier to add and delete a few of the fields than it would be to rebuild the whole form. Is this possible?

Thanks for your help!!!

Hi Jeanie,

Open the form in Design mode and go to the VIEW menu - choose Properties. On the Data tab, you should see a property called Record Source. Change this to the name of your new table (if you click the drop down list, all the tables in your db should be listed).

Note that the title bar of the Properties window should say FORM. If not, you may have placed the mouse on another object within the form. If you cannot find the Record Source property, try pressing Ctl+R, this will place the focus back on the form.

Hope this helps,
Fuyo
