I installed a 100D T1 module in a Merlin Legend Release 7.0 Version 14.2. I can't utilize ARS or Pools in Key mode. I want to change to Hybrid/PBX mode. I found the programming procedure, however I don't know if this will wipe out the translations.

Does anyone know if I will have to reprogram the entire system if I change the mode to Hybrid/PBX?

Does anyone know what will change operationally if I change the mode to Hybrid/PBX?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There will be many changes, depending on how the rest of the system is set up.

Most likely, All phones will loose the line appearances except for the ATTENDANT phone.

Also, at least all the LOOP/GROUND trunks will end up in pool 70.

Operationally, unless you provide access to some lines or a pool button, everyone will have to dial 9 to dial out.

Of course, you can eliminate that issue by putting some lines on the phones.

You would want to review how they really want to use this system and plan accordingly.
