I have done this in the past but my memory fails me. I need to change the location of the SMS database from drive c:\ to drive e:\ on the same server. Should I detach then reattach the database to the new location? Or, should I backup and restore to new location? Whichever way is best, do I run setup in SMS to change the location? Am I required to do a site reset after? Is there a procedure somewhere? I need some assistance. Thanks in advance.
