Changing the link field between a form and sub-form

I have a for wth a sub-form in it. When I created the sub-form with the wizard, I selected the option that linked the two using the ID in the main form and an ID field in the sub-form. No problem. Working fine.

How can I change the 'link field'relatoship between these2 forms? I would like to link them using the protocol field in my main form and a protocol field I created in my sub-form (and its underlying table).

I have been able to do this by using the wizard and selecting the appropriate 'link'in the wizard. However, is there a way I can do this manually on the existing form without having to re-create the form from scratch?

Select the subform Object then bring
properties > Data tab >
Link Child fields
Link Master fields

If you want more than one field then you can add fieldnames separated with ; (semicolon)
something like
FirstName;LastName
or click onthe build button at the right hand side of each line.

If you look at the properties of the subform control, you will find link child / master fields. It is quite difficult to get the control, rather than the form contained. You can get it by clicking on the line around the edge, or more simply, by selecting from the drop down box, usually on the upper left corner of the screen, when in design mode, and finally, by tabbing between controls.

It is not that difficult to select any control on the form. Just click-hold on the empty area of the form & drag on to a control(S).
You may try all these as experiment.
