Does anyone know of how I might change the language setting on 6.5 ? It's on the wrong one and is causing me a few problems. I have had a look but can't see a way to change it.

I'm probably looking in the wrong place of course !

I never used SQL 6.5 (I started at 7). Anyway, here's a thread that may help you. It was written with sql 2000 in mind but might work in 6.5. thread183-1240616

The important point to realize is that the language setting is based on logins, not the database engine. There is a way to specify the default language for new logins, and also to change the language for existing logins.

Anyway... I hope this helps.
