I need to change the IP address in our BCM. We dont use IP phones so I thing it does not really matter i guess If i need to change the IP address. Can someone confirm it?

NIC: eth0 is the ip address which i need to access to use the element manager from my PC, Is this the C-LAN?

NIC: eth0
IP 10.21.3.138
Mask 255.255.255.224
MAC
NIC: eth1
IP 10.10.11.10
Mask 255.255.255.0
MAC

Is there anything that I should concern about it?

So I need to bring Crossover cable with laptop and access it on NIC: eth1 to change the IP address on NIC: eth0?

Where can i find the field in the element manager to change the IP address for NIC: eth0?

Thank you

Do u have CC Reporting? If so u'll need to changing the BCM IP there too.

Connect to BCM via LAN 1 or LAN 2. Look for Network Interfaces and change the IP for the LAN port u have connected to your network.

No I dont have the reporting installed. Do i need to use crossover cable to connect directly to the PBX?

Thanks

Do we need to reboot the PBX after we change the IP?

My vendor tech also told me that i do not have to reboot it.

But yes, you will need to reboot it otherwise the IVR and Callpilot would not work. It will tell you when you change the IP.
