My company wants to change domain names and wants the PO to use the new domain name. I am told that the only way I can do this is to create a new PO and move the mailboxes over.

My question is if this is true, is there a move utility as with Exchange to move the maiboxes over to the new PO? Or do I have to create all new mailboxes and every loses their schedules and old email? How can I move or merge the two POs.

Thanks
Jeff

My Company now has 4 Domain names registered. I have only 1 GroupWise(5.5) System setup with a single GWIA, MTA & POA on a NW 5.0 server. You can add additional domain names to the System from the NWAdmin/Tools/GWSystem Settings, then add the domain name to the GWIA from the NWAdmin/Tools/GWSystem View. Syncronize the system.
Then you can use the NWAdmin/Tools/GWSystem View and change the User settings by overiding the default Domain with the New Domain, that way you can change the users one by one.
If you need to change everyone at the same time do this at the NWAdmin/Tools/GWSystem Settings, just assign the New Domain as the Default Domain.
I may be a little vague on the exact details as I'm at home right now but it should be easily apparent when you see the pages. I don't think you can assign both Domain Names to the Users at the same time but you could use the Allias so the user can receive mail from both Domains.
Don't forget to have your ISP add the info to their DNS.
