changing the default product field pricing?

I'm looking to change the default product field which is used for pricing of products. Right now it is the PRICE field, however I have installed a module for extra product field and would like to use one of those fields.

Any ideas?

If you are using MM4 you can do it easily with Product Page Templates/Category Page Templates from Viking Coders.
