Hi There, probably a silly question but. I have a virtual server with a fix IP 1.2.3.4 for example. I point multiple domains and sub domains to this server ip 1.2.3.4. When there is no domain ( configured in IIS you get auto redirected to the Microsoft default blue splash screen.

I really need to have control over the landing page that the external people get to see. I have tried altering the files in the dir but that's not working.

Any ideas would be helpful, thanks for looking.

There are a couple of things that you need to look at.
In IIS, your default page has an order of preference... .ASP, .HTM, .PHP, whatever....
So, if you had index.htm and index.asp, and the order had .asp as a higher default page extension, that is the one that you would see first.

Just my $.02
