Hi!

I claim First Post (!)

It is now a part of my job to deal with variable data printing and I need to start learning how to do things like editing postscript. I appreciate any help or pointers you can share.

I have the PDF of a business card.
I want to change the employee title as written in the PDF.
I know I should extract the PostScript first, ideally.

Now my question is this: how do I change the title in the PostScript?

Thank you,

Bazewouelle

Hi Bazewouelle,

It could be as simple as opening the file in Notepad and using Find/Replace, or it could be as complex as having to find a sequence of postscript text fields (which will probably be delimited by std brachets [ie '()']) for each individual character.

Cheers
