Changing the Colour Spectrum? 1

Can't find this info anywhere. A colleague recently experimented with my computer and Photoshop CS. She was using the colour palette.
In the main window that comes up when you click on whatever foreground colour you currently happen to be using, the gradient of specific colour used to be in the big square box - shown as a circle. Alongside was a narrow vertical bar displaying the colour spectrum. Now, it's the other way round, (the spectrum being in the big box, and the gradient being in the narrow vertical bar alongside). I can see no way of changing this back to what I was used to...
 
In the colour picker, click on the radio button next to the 'H'. This stands for Hue and will display the spectrum in the slider.
