In Quark, I am able to change the color of a placed photoshop bitmap. How can I do this in InDesign? I would like to be able to place the bitmaped image and be able to change the color. Help!

Use the white arrow (direct select tool) and then apply color. There are also some limitations to the image formats that can have color applied.

For a grayscale or monochrome (1-bit) image, use the Direct Selection tool . (The open arrow) You can only apply two colors to a grayscale or monochrome image.

Click on the object with the open arrow (White) and choose a color.
