I used to be a VB programmer but have tried to move to Visual C++ (I like a bit of a challenge) - When creating forms in VB they are created with a very similar look to the dialogs the are produced in VC++. If I wanted to use a normal window instead of a dialog to display edit boxes etc, the form sits inside a frame with bevelled edges. My question is is there any way to use a normal window as opposed to a dialog and still get the window to appear like a dialog ie without the inset bevelled edges?

Hope this makes sense.

In the dialog editor, right-click on your main window and look at its properties. One is something like "border", with choices like none, thin, etc. and also try the "style" property. I hope that helps.
