We have a MICS 4.1 norstar system that we are wanting to change the service on to a pri. There is currently a T1 going into the system with DID numbers. What all is involved to change the system to allow the Pri to work and what new cards and keycode are needed to do this

Just the Keycodes for the PRI

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS AND AVAYA

How bad is the programming to make this change im not real familar with this system

Not hard at all. Go to hardware and change the settings on the DTI card from T1 to PRI. Then show on PRI and change the settings to match what your telco has (NI2, DMS100, etc).

You mite have to reprogram your route, Just take note of how it is programed.

You are going to have check on your routes and destinations codes under Services make sure the destination code for 9 goes out over the Route for PRI A. You are going to check each extension has access too PRI-A under line access so they makes out going calls. Also under hardware you are going to have to tell the system it is know a Pri not just T1 and make prime set none.

make sure also that your target lines assigned to your telephones have enough line appearances and intercoms so more than one call comes in.
