Hi all!!We use windows NT 4.0 workstations that runs a SNMP private application written for them using the NT SNMP
service. Our network manager (SNMPc) recognises these
agents, however it recognises them as NT machines using
the sysObjectID the NT SNMP service returns.
Is there a way that we can detect these as our private
apps (with our sysObjectID's), rather than recognising
them as NT agents. This way it can automatically set up
its symbols and other info. It would also make life easier
for filtering. In other words, is there a way to change
windows NT sysobjectid and put our application
sysobjectid???? Thanks in advance
