We have callpilot with symposium express. I need to change the 1st and 2nd wait annocuncements. The Wait ID's are 1 and 2. I know how to change the voice menu prompts in app builder but I don't see those in there. Anyone know?
Not sure I understand your question. If you have created the Announcements in CallPilot and know the wait ID's from CallPilots DN table, then the next step should be in Symposium Express:
Choose Call Treatment - choose the relevant Call Treatment and choose Next in the Wizard, until you reach Announcements.
Then type in the ID's for 1st and 2nd wait announcement and click Finish.
Yes you can - dont remember where, but you have the number you call to lisen to your voice mail, then you have prompt maintenance, and express messaging, they are usually programmed together, in ascending order.
The 'Application ID' can be found via the Call Pilot Application Builder; column: 'ID' (is next to 'Name').
Be sure to have a password defined: Open the Application, go to 'File', 'Properties' and click the 'Security' tab. The 'Telset maintenance password' must be checked and the password filled in order to make this work.
The first and second wait accouncements are not in my list of avalible applications to open. This is where I change my menu prompts. Could it be possible that I need to change the wait announcements in Symposium?
Is there a general application were the 2 announcements are stored? An application can have up to 3000 'voice prompts'.
If you open an application and go to 'Voice Items' you can find all 'voice items' with their corresponding ID. These ID's are referenced to when you dial the maintenance prompt, after login (via "Application ID?" + "Password?") you will hear "Prompt ID?".
So far Call Pilot (think it must be somewere in there) + Symposium.
Or, is there also a MIRAN or other system which can generate your wait message?
