Changing Site URL from ServerName to FQDN

When accessing my SPS 2003 site over the internet via a FQDN (like

http://www.domain.com/),

some of the links, specifically items in the search results, are linked to the servername which obviously only works when accessing the site from our Intranet. How can I go about making sure all links within the SPS site all point to the domain name?
