hi all,

we have set up a sip trunk via a new zealand provider, but we have to use ports 50600 and 50040, not 5060 or 5004, we have opend upd/tcp ports on router etc, we can dial out through the sip, but cant dial in, the listen port is greyed out with 5060 port, can't change,

the router is sonicwall tz170 without enhanced os, so it can do NAT translations,

any ideas?

Have you setup the SIP URI's in the SIP line form???

They need to be setup in there for the system to recognise them and then you can program incomming calls routes.

Also by IP401 I assume you means Small Office Edition. 401's stopped at 2.1!!!!!

Fooball is not a matter of life and death-It is far more important!!!!

Small Office still shows up as IP401NG (next generation?)

Upgraded the smallest version to 4.1.09 yesterday (4x Pots, 4x analogline, VCM3, NO Digital ports) Yes I had to check and recheck that this really was a Small Office and not an old IP401. That configuration isn't on sale anymore.
