I reviewed a similar post entitled "Batch update Crystal reports in Crystal Enterprise". I wish to do the same thing for CR 8.5 or in CE 8.5

Thanks you,

Salman

HI,
Don't think you can in CE8.5 - The only way I have found is to open the report ( can be the published version opened from the Enterprise Folder) and use the set Location option to change it, then resave it.
( You will probably have to use the CMC to reset any default database passwords afterwards).

I have not seen a 'native' batch method..There are 3rd party tools out there that can do this I think..

Turkbear,

I am willing to consider third-party tools, but I the only one I know of is by softwareforces.com. It allows you to change all other elements of a report in batch. But, I did not see the ability to change the database.

Thanks

Salman
