Hi There,

Is it possible for a IP user to change their own security code on their phone?

We are running 8720 with 3.1 software and 9620 phones.

I have tried using Station Security Code Change Access Code: #99 in the feature access which gives you a denial code of 2059. I have looked up the denial code which says "Change of security code through feature access code not supported by ip" Sounds like a definite no to me but I was just wondering whether there was another option I have missed.

Thanks

fraggles,

i remember that problem, cm didn't support encrypted control channels to ip phones up until some release, i think it was cm3. also check that you're running latest ip phone firmware.

Hi dwalin,

We are running the most recent version 1.5 on the 9620 ip phones but dosen't seem to make a difference :-(

fraggles,

and what cm version are you running?

fraggles,

strange. but i'm not sure 96xx support this functionality.
