I have a signature that's been scanned. It's saved as a jpg. I need to turn the signature white and place it on a PMS background (PMS 293 Blue). I'm working in Photoshop 7 and need to place final image into InDesign.

How do I do this?

I usually take a high resolution scan (600 ppi) and save it as a 1-bit TIFF. This places in InDesign as black art with transparency. PMS293 could be defined in InDesign.

Thanks for the quick answer!

That worked, except the signature itself is still black. The background is now transparent, but I need the signature white.

Now what?

InDesign will let you color it. Use the direct selection tool in InDesign.
