Changing SA password

I have log shipping set up for one or my production servers. Has anybody ever changed the sa password on the Source? I can't find anything in BOL or SQL Server tech net that would suggest I can't. I would obviously change the password on the monitor and destination server as well. But I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't break log shipping.
