Changing / renaming a CN 1

Hello !

I've been trying to rename accounts in Active Directory. Where I can easily modify sn, givenName, UserPrincipalName, samAccountName or DisplayName, I can't figure a way to modify the cn.

Is there a way to modify a cn ?
I always get an error -2147016682 / 0x80072016.

The same applies to distinguishedName or canonicalName. No idea if they can be modified. If I try I get a constraint violation -2147016654 / 0x8007202f.

Do I have to clone the account with the new name ? or is there an obvious way to do that ?

There you change not a property value of an object, you rename an abject itself. You have to use movehere method of a container.
