Hello,
i have a big problem with WAS 3.5.6 on Solaris 7 with an Oracle Database. We have two lines which knows nothing about the other line (two seperat repository).
What i mean is, each WebServer can contact only his own AppServer. We don't use the WebSphere balancing option. The vhost.properties file is differently on each AppServer.
So i think, this problem has nothing to do with the with the same ibmoselink or portnumber. We have one application called CDR. This application uses the same ibmoselink and port on both AppServer. And this App is running!
The problem are two Apps, which are created by a Model. On the first Line this Apps are running fine. Each has his own increased ibmoselink and clonenumber.
Now, i wanted to clone this line. I does an export, edit this xml file and changed all vhost and hostnames to the names of the new line. Even so the admin.config file, to connect to another db schema.
I imported the xml file on the new line without any error messages. All Apps are up and running without any error message too - told me the WebSphere GUI - but now, have a look to the queue.properties file!

Where is my ibmoselink1? Where is my ibmoselink4? Why can WebSphere bring up this Apps? And that, without any error messages?
You see, only the ibmoselink3 is configured right. This is the CDR App, which is running.
Manually i can't change the ibmoselink in the Model. I only have a view to this field.
If i try to change this parameter in the Clone i can do that. But, it will not be stored to the .properties file. If i have a look to this parameter in the GUI again, this field is empty!
I am helpless.
Here is the queue.properties file from the running line:
