CHANGING PWD 2

What do I need to do to get my Second Level Password Changed through Nortel? I have a client that lost the only employee that had that password and he is not giving it up. I need to get this changed ASAP.

Go to an Autorized distributor and have them open a ticket for you, cost will be probably somewhere around $400.

last time i did a recovery for a user it cost 1600 through nortel.. that could have been mark-up as well.. nortel tech support was 600 per hour last time i heard a quote... anyone with pdt access can reset that.. but if you try to get it done local, be sure you trust the tech.. real easy to lock out all users..

john could be right the one i did was mid 1990' man how time fly's. I did it through what was then Wiltell ($125) and Nortel ($250)

Providing the system is not 4.5, then getting it changed is fairly easy if you know the right people. Is it a 11c, or a big switch?.

Yes it's ok at 4.5, except that ALL of the user accounts will be defaulted or removed!.

They would All be defaulted and procedure would expect you to change them right away. It will also allow you to input the same passwords(if you know them).

There are other ways of finding out, but it's not easy. Still Rlse 5 is even better for security!.
